Samsung’s Innovative Dolby Atmos Soundbars Set to Revolutionize Home Audio

At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled its latest advancements in home audio technology with the introduction of two flagship Q-Series soundbars: the HW-Q990F and the HW-QS700F.

HW-Q990F: Elevating Audio Performance

Building upon the success of its predecessor, the HW-Q990D, the HW-Q990F features newly engineered dual active subwoofers that deliver robust bass and ultra-low-frequency precision. The redesigned subwoofers are now half the size of previous models, minimizing resonance and seamlessly integrating into modern interiors.

This soundbar is equipped with advanced AI-driven features, including:
  • Dynamic Bass Control: Enhances clarity in low-frequency ranges by utilizing non-linear bass management for balanced and distortion-free sound.
  • Q-Symphony: Immerses users in 3D surround sound by detecting the position of wireless speakers, such as the Music Frame, and automatically optimizing audio effects based on their distance and angle.
  • Active Voice Amplifier Pro: Provides real-time content analysis that reduces background noise and emphasizes dialogue for an enhanced viewing experience.
Additionally, the HW-Q990F leverages the Samsung TV’s Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in Q-Symphony mode to deliver clearer dialogue and more immersive, synchronized audio.

HW-QS700F: Adaptive Design Meets Superior Sound

The HW-QS700F introduces a groundbreaking adaptive design, featuring a built-in gyro-sensor that automatically detects whether the soundbar is positioned vertically or horizontally. This allows the device to fine-tune audio output, ensuring optimal clarity and immersive sound in any configuration.

Its slim, modern profile, the HW-QS700F integrates seamlessly into any room, offering flexibility without compromising style. This makes it an ideal companion for both cinematic wall-mounted displays and minimalist tabletop setups.

Availability

While Samsung has not officially announced the release dates for the HW-Q990F and HW-QS700F soundbars, it is anticipated that they will be available in the spring of 2025, following the company’s typical product launch timeline
