Orange to launch QWERTY Android phone in the UK

Orange is going to launch a new Android based phone in UK. Called the Barcelona, the device will feature a 2.6-inch touchscreen display, below which is a full QWERTY keypad. On the back is a 3.2 megapixel camera.


The Barcelona also has other features such as HSDPA, Bluetooth, HD Voice, GPS, Orange Maps, FM radio and video calling, all in a 9.9mm thick body. The Barcelona will be running on Android 2.2 Froyo.
The Barcelona will be offered for free on select monthly plans and at a price for PAYG customers. Orange is yet to reveal the plans for the device.

BlackPods: Apple's New Black AirPods

BlackPods (apparently both the name of the company and the end product) will take your ordinary shiny white AirPods, subject them to a 'three-phase approach' that yields a 'luxurious scratch-resistant finish', all for the nominal fee of $99. Alternatively, you can buy the AirPods straight from BlackPods and get the BlackPods for $249 - sounds like $9 worth of savings. That is, if you don't already own a pair. The HTC Sensation, which was promised to boast the company's unique unibody design might not have it after all. The first live  photos and videos  that surfaced clearly show that the back panel of the Sensation is removable, rather than being firmly attached to the frame surrounding the front. The official HTC Sensation page claims that the device features the famous HTC unibody design, but as it turns out, it might be just a cheap marketing trick.
